We are the proud owners of Beach City Builders, Inc., and we are part of a very long lineage of prosperous general contractors from the Midwest. BCB’s two owners, Dave and Tom Norman, were deeply entrenched for years in large construction projects and the daily operations of their family’s construction business in Missouri, which started their strong passion for building things. Their building knowledge runs deep and is reflected in the quality and hard work of their company as well as that of their teams.

  • Growing up with parents in the Interior Design Industry, it was only natural for Zoe to follow in their footsteps. She moved to San Diego from the Bay Area at 19 in 1999 and while actively working in the design industry, graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego in 2005. Zoe has worked closely with the Beach City Builders team for many years and continues to support our projects and our team.

  • With over 35 years of experience in accounting, operations and HR in the Construction and CD Consulting industry, Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project, making her a highly valuable asset to our team.


  • Johnny grew up in the construction industry, following the footsteps of his uncle and his father. By the young age of 20, Johnny earned the title of “Senior Electrical Lead.” In 2004, he was certified in "Lutron Homework" with the ability to set up fully automated "Smart Homes". Johnny joined the BCB crew in 2013 and is now the General Manager of our Project Leadership team and our in-house Innovative Electric division team. Johnny’s leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the construction industry make him an invaluable asset to our team. With deep understanding of project management and a passions for innovation, Johnny consistently delivers exceptional results and drives success in every endeavor. His dedication to excellence and commitment to exceeding expectation set him apart as a true leader within our company.
